WELCOME TO THE TINY VILLAGE OF HÈVREMONT
(PART OF THE OLD TOWN OF LIMBOURG)
VÉRONIQUE AND PAUL'S HOUSE
LA BOVEGNÉE IN A NUTSHELL
Of stone and clay...
Close to the High Fens, the Spa town, pearl of the Ardennes, and the Gileppe lake but also the superb medieval town of Limbourg, at the gateway to the Belgian Ardennes, Véronique and Paul welcome you to the heart of the small village Hèvremont, in a typical old village house built of local stone. It has been completely renovated by us into a family cottage, combining respect for the building and its past with modern comforts. The clay ceilings throughout the house create an atmosphere of well-being that promotes calm and serenity. There are plenty of rooms for everyone to find their own space.
The house, adjacent to the owners' house, has a lovely garden with views over the forest and a large terrace. From the garden, you have direct access to the GR walks (European long-distance paths) via the small stream 'La Bovegnée' and the huge Hertogenwald forest.
The fully equipped kitchen, with its central island, invites you to prepare delicious dishes while enjoying an aperitif.
La Bovegnée is the name of a small stream that springs from the hillside at the edge of the village and flows through the back of the garden. In the past, this water was used to supply the village with drinking water thanks to an intake tunnel in the hillside at a place called "Rultak".
Limbourg is one of the "Most beautiful villages in Wallonia" since April 2016.
